RRL and JFDA Workshop: Primary Reference Standards

From Analytical Data to a standard you can trust

We’re pleased to announce an upcoming scientific workshop by Resonance Research Lab, in cooperation with the Jordan Food & Drug Administration (JFDA):

“Primary Reference Standards: From Characterization to a Scientifically Assigned Value”

A reference standard is more than a certificate and a purity number. Behind every reliable assigned value is a clear scientific process, from material identification and metrological traceability to purity assessment, structural confirmation, analytical data, review, and documentation.

During the workshop, we’ll take a practical look at how Primary Reference Standards are qualified and used in pharmaceutical laboratories, with a special focus on the 12 requirements outlined by JFDA.

Topics will include:

  • Metrological traceability
  • Identity and structural confirmation
  • Purity and impurity profiling
  • Water content, residual solvents, and inorganic residue
  • Chromatograms, spectra, and supporting documentation
  • A practical case study and open scientific discussion

At Resonance Research Lab, we believe a reliable Primary Reference Standard should be supported by a complete and traceable body of scientific evidence, not just a single analytical result.

We look forward to sharing knowledge and exchanging practical insights with professionals across Jordan’s pharmaceutical sector.
